Have you ever wanted to add “Guinness World Record Holder” to your CV or Twitter bio? Now you can!
Since we announced this year’s World Record Attempt, more than 600 people have signed up to meet us at 8:30am sharp next Friday morning in downtown Portland. We need all of those people to show up, and we still need at least 150 more people to join the party and ensure we smash the record.
Thinking of joining in? We’ve prepared a few helpful Questions and Attempted Answers below.
- What if I don’t live in Portland?
No problem. We have an international airport and a lightrail that goes straight to downtown where the record attempt will be held. For best results, be sure to fly to Portland, Oregon instead of Portland, Maine.
- What if I don’t know how to do yoga?
It’s okay, we don’t either. Well, some of us do—but it doesn’t matter, because this isn’t really a yoga class. It’s a fun group activity where the instructors will show all participants everything they need to know, regardless of skill level.
- If I don’t have a yoga mat, will I have to sit on the cold, hard ground?
Also no problem. We’ll give you a mat! Awwww yeah. You’ll get a free mat and you’ll help set a world record. That and $4 will buy you a latte.
