Greetings, friends and readers. If you’re not going to Austin this week, you can safely ignore this post.
Once a year, the whole internet moves to Austin, Texas—presumably for the SXSW Festival, although I’ve never actually been to it before.
This coming weekend, I’ll be in town with everyone else. If you’ll be there too, here are two gigs you’re invited to join me at:
Saturday night, 7-10pm: AONC Party. Join me and 80 fun people for an informal gathering. We’re also doing a signing + meet-the-author for Jenny Blake’s upcoming Life After College book.
The best things in life are FREE, and so are tickets to this party—but you need to be on the guest list, since space is limited. Cool? You can get your invite here.
Sunday afternoon, 11am-12:30pm: Official Gig. It’s called Fear and the Art of Creation with me and @jonathanfields. This is an official SXSW event, so I guess I’ll need to enter the conference area for the first time ever.
Jonathan and I will attempt to co-faciliate a “Core Conversation” (that’s what SXSW calls it) with everyone who shows up. If we have a big group, Jonathan and I will need to do more of the talking—but it will be as interactive as we can make it.
I hope to see you in Austin!
