Hi Chris - I've just discovered your blog and it is great! Keep up the good work.

I've been having an ongoing conversation (online and in person) with my colleague (and fellow blogger) about the value of social networking. The question we've been debating (and it is not one unique to us, I'm sure) centers around the value of the connections we make with one another through Facebook/Myspace, blogs, Twitter, etc. We agree that its not the same thing as face-to-face personal connection, and that there are real opportunities to connect with the world in new and exciting ways. But, do you think these online connections are replacing our face-to-face connections? And what does that mean? Our debate goes on! I just wonder what you think, espcially given the experiences you've gained traveling the world.
